On 15 May, we are honoured to welcome Patrick Huston, retired U.S. Army Brigadier General and a leading legal expert on emerging technologies, who will share his insights on how artificial intelligence is transforming global security.
A former Army Ranger, helicopter pilot, and senior Pentagon official, General Huston has advised on high-stakes military operations around the world. Today, he serves on both the FBI’s AI Task Force and the American Bar Association’s AI Task Force, where he plays a key role in shaping the future of AI policy, deepfake defence, and cybersecurity regulation.
With decades of battlefield experience and strategic insight, General Huston will offer a unique perspective on the intersection of AI and defence – and what this rapidly evolving tech landscape will mean for governments, businesses, and society at large.
